Expert group on the Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (R&I) – call for applications

Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) has published a call for applications for experts for the   Economic and Societal Impact of Research and Innovation (ESIR3) expert group.

The group will support DG RTD in developing an evidence-based, transformative R&I policy that drives sustainability transitions in Europe and faces future challenges, such as:

• Supporting systemic transitions for sustainable, inclusive and prosperous societies through EU R&I policy,
• Enabling EU R&I policy to play a role in technology governance, from artificial intelligence to the green transition
• Contribute to the definition of a new socio-economic model for Europe through R&I policy
• Clarifying the role of R&I policy in fostering innovation and contribute to the European Research Area (ERA) goal of bridging the innovation divide and enabling the emergence of novel ideas.
