The Codes of Practice on knowledge valorisation aim to provide detailed guidance to all those involved in research and innovation.

Background

On 2 December 2022, the Council adopted a Recommendation on the guiding principles for knowledge valorisation to establish a common line on measures and policy initiatives in the European Union. 

To help implement the Guiding Principles, the European Commission adopted four Codes of Practice on Knowledge Valorisation, providing practical guidance to research and innovation actors in making research results work for market and society.
