Scientific Advice Mechanism: Outputs and impacts 2019-2024

This report examines the impact of the Scientific Advice Mechanism (SAM), which provides independent scientific evidence and policy recommendations to the European institutions at the request of the College of Commissioners. It presents a concise overview of the Mechanism's work from 2019 to 2024, showcasing eleven case studies. These case studies address issues related to crisis management, energy transition, food systems, One Health, and various other topics that support the EU's Green Deal commitment.
