Modern lifestyle factors such as tobacco use, physical inactivity, harmful use of alcohol, and unhealthy diets have led to an increase in non-communicable diseases (NCDs), responsible for almost 41 million deaths per year, according to the WHO. A personalised and healthy diet can help reduce the risk of developing or controlling NCDs. The Stance4Health project aims to provide personalised diets and food products through a smartphone app called i-Diet to empower consumers to make healthier food choices.

Description
After more than 4 years of exciting collaboration and dedicated work, Stance4Health is ready to showcase the work done and its results to date.
The conference will commence with an overview of the current public health landscape followed by our project partners showcasing the Stance4Health innovative approaches explored during the project to address this critical issue through personalised nutrition.
You will have the opportunity to learn about microbiome research, personalised foods & supplements, and how these factors could work together to enhance public health outcomes. Consumer acceptance of personal nutrition apps will also be one of the topics covered. Additionally, we will host two panel discussions, where participants on-site and online attendees will be able to engage in conversations about the results presented and their future implications.
We cordially invite you to join us on the 10th of May, 2023, in Brussels, starting at 9.00 am to present to you our achievements and progress made on research and innovation in the field of personalised nutrition.
