Description
Open Schooling is an important approach to education that allows for creativity and exploration. This conference will explore the concept of Open Schooling, discussing its advantages and how it can be incorporated into everyday school life. The aim is to identify the potential benefits of this approach so that more schools can adopt it and make a positive impact on their communities.
Open Schooling is an educational approach that has the potential to transform the way we think about and deliver education. The “Lay of the Land” conference will give you everything you need to get started with Open Schooling, including inspiring speeches from pioneers in the field, practical workshops, and networking opportunities. This is your chance to learn from case studies of Open Schooling and to develop your own ideas for how this innovative approach can be used in your educational setting.
This is the final conference for the PHERECLOS project, which has been funded by the EU. The purpose of this project is to create new partnerships for pathways to higher education and science engagement in regional clusters of Open Schooling. This process involves stakeholders such as universities, governmental and non-governmental organizations, companies and/or other knowledge providers. This process has been continuously informed by findings from academic implementation research. The project started in October 2019 and will end after this conference in September 2022.
We invite you all to attend and learn more about this important work, or even contribute with a workshop (call for workshop proposals still open until 1st of July 2022).
