The third EU-Kosovo Horizon Europe Joint Research and Innovation Committee meeting focused on cooperation, Horizon Europe implementation and the new political guidelines of Commissioner Zaharieva.

The agreement places Swiss researchers and organisations on the same footing as those in EU Member States: they may lead consortia, receive direct EU funding, and access all thematic pillars and instruments of the programmes.

New initiative to encourage collaboration between leading African researchers and European Research Council (ERC) grantees was signed by the European Commission. It opens new opportunities for researchers supported by the AAS to temporarily join teams led by ERC grantees in Europe.

This grants Egyptian researchers, universities, innovators and entities access to all parts of the programme on similar terms to those of EU Member States.
