The opportunities created by novel technologies and disruptive innovations promise to deliver the fair, green and digital recovery Europe needs. But we cannot get ahead if we leave half the population behind. To mark International Women’s Day, the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT) are organising a special livestreamed event with the women driving Europe’s deep tech future, opened by Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Kinga Stanislawska, Founder of Experior Venture Fund and member of the EIC Advisory Board, and involve:
- Maria Fátima Lucas, Co-founder and CEO of ZYMVOL, Winner of EU Prize for Women Innovators 2020 and previous SME Instrument Phase II beneficiary;
- Magdalena Jander, Co-founder & CEO at Uvera, supported by EIT and EIC Accelerator (Green Deal Call);
- Dora Palfi, Co-founder & CEO at ImagiLabs, EIT Digital Master School graduate and founder of EIT Women.
The event will be livestreamed via the EUScienceInnov YouTube account, and the panel will take questions from the audience via Slido.
