Save the date for the upcoming Horizon Europe Cluster 6 info days and Brokerage event

The European Commission announces today the next edition of info days for Horizon Europe Cluster 6 that will take place in hybrid format, allowing the choice between in-person attendance in Charlemagne conference centre in Brussels or live streaming and online interaction on 27 and 28 September 2023. Right before the info days an in-person brokerage event takes place on 26 September 2023 with an offer of networking and matchmaking opportunities for prospective applicants.

The Objectives of the Info Days are:

• To present the topics of the Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment) Work programme 2024 encouraging participation.
• Raising awareness about the critical elements and key success factors for proposal preparation and application process.
• Offering networking and matchmaking opportunities to applicants to support the building of proposals’ consortia during the tied partnering event.
• Providing the possibility for in-person meetings with EU policy officers and project advisers and conducting one-on-one discussions.

During the event, small information booths will allow for active interaction and offer on-site services for participants.

Info days calendar

The Info days will span over 2 days, starting with a short opening policy session followed by thematic sessions covering each of the 7 Destinations of the Work Programme 2024, and a practical session “Key to success” providing practical information and tips to applicants for proposal preparation.

Background

Since the launch of the new Research & Innovation Framework Programme Horizon Europe, the European Commission is organising info days to present funding opportunities, to foster participation and to guide potential applicants through the processes and best practices when submitting proposals for funding.

The previous edition of Horizon Europe info-days took place on 13-14 December 2022 and covered all parts of Horizon Europe Cluster 6 in hands-on discussions and workshops.

The Horizon Europe Cluster 6 2024 calls for proposals, will open on 17 October 2023 with a deadline for submission end of February 2024.
