This report supports the implementation of the Strategic guidelines for a more sustainable and competitive EU aquaculture for the period 2021 to 2030. It also outlines the Research and innovation needed to develop zero-carbon and low-impact aquaculture, and promote circular, low-carbon multi-purpose use of marine and water space in line with the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030”.
The report has made an analysis of 53 EU funded Horizon 2020 projects related to aquaculture and identified tangible results that may be beneficial to the aquaculture community and readily used by various stakeholders and end-users.
