Horizon 2020 GROW Observatory project shortlisted for a PIEoneer award

Great news from the GROW Observatory project: The initiative has been shortlisted for the PIEoneer Award 2020 for Digital Innovation in Learning!

The project ran from November 2016 to October 2019 and focussed on citizen observatories. The learning and MOOC programme was a novel and in-depth engagement and empowerment tool in the field of citizen science and citizen observation. It actively involved thousands of people raising awareness and spreading knowledge about soils, climate change, IoT sensors, data, and all kinds of food growing practices.

This is the 4th edition of the PIEoneer Awards, the only global awards that celebrate innovation and achievement across the international education industry.
