European Commission at ILA Berlin 2022

The ILA Berlin International Air Show is one of the biggest worldwide events in aviation: it gathers every two years a huge number of visitors – more than 150,000 between stakeholders and general public – coming from all over the world.

For the 2022 edition that will take place on 22-26 June, the Clean Planet directorate of the Research and Innovation Directorate-General of the European Commission will have a common stand with the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, to jointly promote European research, the European Green Deal and how to reach the decarbonisation of the aviation sector.

A selection of more than 20 research projects from Clean Sky 2 and collaborative research will be showcased on the stand, to illustrate the achievements of European aviation research so far.

In addition, a European Commission session is scheduled on the opening day (22 June) in the official programme of the ILA Stage Future Lab, which will deliver a deep insight of the support of European Union to this strategic sector.

Last but not least, the European Commission is the official strategic partner of this 2022 edition; this will give with no doubt an even higher interest to the achievements of the European aviation research and policy.

Join us at ILA Berlin 2022 on 22-26 June!
