The Cancer mission engages with European youth via an online session

The European Commission organized in partnership with the European Youth Forum an online youth engagement session on the Cancer Mission, on 14 May. Participants, aged 18-30 from several European Member States as well as Turkey joined the session to contribute their perspective to the design of the Cancer Mission.

This interactive discussion was structured under five main themes: understanding, prevention, treatment, quality of life and equitable access. The young participants shared their views on how the Cancer Mission could save more people from cancer and improve lives of affected patients, families and societies. Their input will be communicated to the Mission Board to feed in their work.
