Call for applications: Selection of members of the Platform on sustainable finance

The Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG R&I) invites the research, innovation and industrial stakeholders, including the Research and Technology Organisations (RTOs) to participate in the recently published Call for applications for the selection of members of the Platform on sustainable finance.

The group of experts in the Platform will have the task to advise the Commission on the technical screening criteria for the EU Sustainable Finance Taxonomy, including their usability. A key task will be to contribute to the development of technical screening criteria for activities substantially contributing to the remaining four environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy.

The Platform will be an advisory body subject to the Commission’s horizontal rules for expert groups and will be composed of experts from the private and public sector. It consist of up to 57 members, 50 of which to be selected through this call for applications, and will include experts representing industry, academia, universities, research institutes and other scientific organisations.

Applications should be submitted by 16 July 2020.
