At the UfM Regional Platform on R&I on 7 July 2021, the UfM Bureau was mandated by the National Focal Points to develop a more elaborated implementation plan for the agreed three R&I Roadmaps (health, renewable energy, climate) in 2022. The implementation plan (which is a living document that could be regularly updated) is expected to be referred to in the Ministerial Declaration on the 27 June 2022 at the UfM R&I Ministerial Conference.
The discussion at the 9 June UfM R&I Platform on the technical implementation plan is meant to prepare for the Ministerial Conference and not pre-empt political commitments to be made at political level.
