Description

The European Commission publication 'Future proofing our food systems through research and innovation' provides a glimpse of how European research and innovation is actively contributing to food system transformation. It provides evidence and backup to support the ongoing FOOD 2030 process of encouraging an open debate amongst stakeholders; to break down silos and engage in meaningful

conversations about the future food systems we want. The publication gathers together examples of evidence-based food system research and innovation from across the whole spectrum of the framework programme and the food chain. It also clearly demonstrates EU research and innovation outcomes relevant to economic societal and environmental policy development and needs.
