The 30th UfM R&I Platform Senior Officials Meeting was held in Cairo on 3 October 2024 in Cairo. The EU launched in the afternoon the 1st Euro-Mediterranean Innovation Marketplace.
The Commission, the Union for the Mediterranean and the Arab League organised together a High-Level Meeting on Science Diplomacy on 2 October 2024 in Cairo.
The overall aim is to strengthen competitiveness in a sustainable way in both regions, by tapping into each other’s innovation ecosystem and do joint research on climate change and local resilience to strengthen the research capacity.
