Joining forces across sectors and borders to improve cancer prevention, care, and survivorship
In 2021 the EU has launched an unprecedented mission to prevent cancer, advance care, and improve 3 million lives by 2030.
Researchers, innovators, patients, medical professionals, charities, funders, and policymakers: your expertise, experience, and voice are essential to make this transformation possible.
EU Cancer Mission in action
- 75 funded projects across all 4 objectives
- €605 million invested
- 45 countries involved (including all 27 EU Member States)
- 16 National Cancer Mission Hubs (and mirror groups) in EU Member States so far, replicating the Mission approach at national, regional and local level to accelerate innovation as well as improve equitable access to prevention and care by breaking down barriers between people at risk of cancer, cancer patients living with and beyond cancer, clinicians, and policymakers.
