Webinar “Carcinogenesis of micro- and nanoplastics: what we know and how to advance using in vitro

Webinar organised by the PLASTICHEAL project focused on the potential long-term effects caused on the human health by MNPLs exposure.

PLASTICHEAL organises this webinar focused in potential long-term effects caused by micro- and nanoplastics (MNPLs) exposure, to be hold the 25ft of May from 11 to 13:30h CEST.

The event will offer an overview of available information regarding MNPLs carcinogenesis, overview of in vitro long-term approaches to assess carcinogenic potential and one example of PLASTICHEAL findings on MNPLs transforming potential.

Speakers are Josefa Domenech, post-doc researcher from the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH); Irene Barguilla, post-doc researcher at the Cancer Research Centre of Lyon (CRLC), and Alba Hernández, from the Department of Genetics and Microbiology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and PLASTICHEAL coordinator.
