TROPICSAFE H2020 Workshop

Discover the knowledge generated by the H2020 TROPICSAFE project on: “Huanglongbing” in citrus, lethal yellowing in palms and yellows in grapevines.

The H2020 project Tropicsafe (Insect-borne prokaryote-associated diseases in tropical and subtropical perennial crops) is coming to an end and sharing all the results achieved. Within the TROPICSAFE workshop, there will be three thematic blocks. Each of them will feature one of the crops and associated diseases that are studied in the project.

The first block will focus on the ‘Huanglongbing’ of citrus, with interventions by expert international researchers such as Alejandro Tena, Raphael Morillon, and Youri Uneau. The second block will talk about the lethal yellowing of coconut trees with Carlos Oropeza, Ndede Yankey, and Wayne Myrie. Finally, the grapevine yellows disease will be discussed with Nicola Fiore, Elisa Angelini, and Nicoletta Contaldo.
