Description
The event will take place in Cairo (and in virtual mode) on 30 January 2023 with online attendance also available. The event will particularly focus on the follow up of the UfM Ministerial Declaration on Research and Innovation adopted in June 2022 and the implementation of the R&I roadmaps on the three priorities of health, climate change and renewable energies.
The event will indeed, primarily aim to present Horizon Europe and explain its different elements, with a specific focus on the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023-2024 and opportunities for cooperation under the Mediterranean Initiative.
The event is targeting universities, research organisations, businesses, NGOs, policy-makers, practitioners, funding institutions; thus, giving participants an opportunity to network in view of applying for Horizon Europe’s calls for proposals already opened or planned for the coming 2 years.
