Expert workshop - food from the oceans

This expert meeting brought together the lead member Group of Chief Scientific Advisors for this opinion, members of the SAPEA Working Groups and other experts from industry, civil society, specialised agencies, as well as some observers from the European Commission.

The objective was to review key findings of the SAPEA’s Evidence Review Report and to identify priorities for the opinion. In particular, the workshop discussed the feasibility and applicability of increasing sustainable ocean harvest whether from marine aquaculture or wild capture.
