Description
The 2024 edition will take place on 5 till 9 June 2024, and the Clean Planet directorate of the Research and Innovation Directorate-General of the European Commission will have a common stand with the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking https://clean-aviation.eu/, to jointly promote European research, the European Green Deal and how to reach the decarbonisation of the aviation sector.
A selection of a dozen of research projects from Clean Aviation and collaborative research will be showcased on the stand, to illustrate the achievements of European aviation research so far.
In addition, a European Commission session titled “A European flight plan for sustainable and competitive aviation” is scheduled in the official programme of the ILA Stage Future Lab on Wednesday 5 June at 11 AM, which will deliver a deep insight of the support of European Union to this strategic sector.
Last but not least, as in 2022, the European Commission is the official strategic partner of this 2024 edition; this will give with no doubt an even higher interest to the achievements of the European aviation research and policy.
