The 2024 edition of the Cities Mission conference 'Empowering Cities - the Climate Neutral and Smart Cities Mission in Action' provides a valuable opportunity for political representatives and practitioners from the 112 Mission Cities, the Mission Implementation Platform, along with high-level representatives from EU institutions and a wide range of stakeholders, the financial community and representatives from the private sector to meet one another in person, share valuable insights and experiences and to continue to build on cities’ journeys to climate neutrality.

The conference will take place over the course of 25 and 26 June and includes workshops and policy sessions addressing both the Mission's key challenges and the practical aspects for the effective implementation of Climate City Contracts. The programme particularly highlights the Mission Cities' transformative journey towards climate neutrality and offers a significant opportunity to celebrate progress, join forces, and share inspiration.
This 2024 edition will be held in the framework of the Valencia Cities Climate Week, as part of the Valencia EU Green Capital 2024.
