'An.Eu.Affair' Summer School 2021

Organised by the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "Visualising, Analysing and Learning about EU studies", University of the Peloponnese, Greece.

The Summer School is unique opportunity to develop academic skills in a great environment by connecting people from a wide range of backgrounds with the latest research, insights, and techniques from leading academics and practitioners, as well as colleagues in the field of EU studies from all over the world!

Open for Practitioners and Students of all disciplines (i.e. Sociology, Social Policy, International Relations, Human Rights, Economics, etc.), the school focuses on (a) EU Policy Analysis and (b) EU Social & Foreign Affairs.

EU Policy Analysis participants will have the opportunity to explore the prospects of policy content analysis and the use of analytics software and techniques to analyse policies with Eurostat data, while EU Social & Foreign Affairs participants will connect to the latest research and insights in EU’s policies, touching on security and strategy, social policies, local policies and governance, issues of trust and multicultural diversity.

The school’s working language is English and consists of lectures, workshops and seminars conducted by prestigious academics and practitioners aiming to bridge theory with practice and to nourish interactive dialogue.
