Policy Review - Addressing Terrorism: European Research in social sciences and the humanities in support to policies for inclusion and security
The Policy Review takes stock of the available scientific knowledge, including from ten EU funded projects, on the new emerging forms of violent radicalisation and terrorism. It also proposes concrete areas of research needed to further increase this knowledge.
The policy review was presented and discussed at the conference. Past and current research stemming from EU funded projects - including on identities, personal belonging, youth, cities, and ideologies that erode social cohesion – was debated from a policy perspective. Special emphasis was given to identifying knowledge gaps and research needs in these areas at European level.

A Conference Report summarising the discussions and conclusions will be published soon.
