5th Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference

The 5th edition of the Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference, under the heading "Towards a new normal: Sustainable products for sustainable consumption”, will be held online on 1 and 2 March 2022.

This year the European Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee join forces with the French EU Council Presidency to organise this flagship stakeholder conference, which will bring together leaders from business, public authorities, NGOs, knowledge communities, and other civil society organisations to advance our transition to a Circular Economy.

On the first day, the conference will focus on latest circular economy policy developments. On day 2, eight participatory workshops will showcase successes and identify new challenges and opportunities in areas such as circular cities, retailers & consumers, economic incentives and many others.

• parallel Workshop ‘Accelerating system change for a circular transition in cities and regions’ at 10:00 CEST,
• session ‘Circular economy in practice - Making sustainable products for sustainable consumption’ at 15:45 CEST.
