16th EGE Plenary meeting

The Group continued its work on the Opinion on Gene editing, namely on the conceptual framing of the chapters on gene editing in humans and gene editing in animals. Feedback was given on draft text towards the chapters on gene editing in plants and gene drives.

The second day of the meeting was devoted to the EGE Statement on Ethics, as well as to a discussion on IDBEST and Round Table taking place in October.
