Development of outlook for the necessary means to build industrial capacity for drop-in advanced biofuels

The objective is to publish the final report of an RTD study supported by Horizon Europe on deployment of advanced biofuels technologies. The final report and its 6 Annexes are inseparable parts of the publication. The study feeds in to the feedback to policy as it concerns exploitation of R&I technologies supported by Horizon Europe and contributing to the European Green Deal policy. It also provides a basis for a roadmap and strategy on the deployment of these technologies, a request also of the recent ECA report for biofuels. Furthermore it points out the need of further R&I in the technologies development to facilitate their integration contribution to the clean energy transition.
